Flat-round fruits (30-50 cm in diameter) with deep, vertical ribs, initially dark green, then ripening to a beautiful ripe cinnamon colour (as if carved from wood). The flesh has a soft texture and is yellow-orange in colour, sweet-aromatic, leaning somewhat towards a musky flavour. Musque pumpkins are only harvested ripe in our climate with early sowing and (protected) transplanting. If it gets wetter or colder in autumn, they can still be harvested; the fruits will simply ripen in a moderately warm place until they reach their beautiful final colour. From that stage, the taste is optimal.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003ePumpkins can be grown outdoors without problems. The growing tips can be pruned regularly and are edible!
