Tawny Owl Nest Box

The tawny owl is a cavity nester and inhabits older and wooded areas. This owl species can also be found in parks and large gardens. As many old and rotting trees are cut down, nesting sites for the tawny owl disappear. This nest box can be a good alternative. In winter, the nest box is often used as shelter from bad weather.
