A fairly hardy, very aromatic mint with fine leaves and graceful, spherical umbels of white flowers. A delicious mint for tea and very popular in the countries around the Mediterranean and Portugal. We received a starter plant from a Portuguese customer, who told us that this was the most important mint for the best mint tea in his region... Give the plant a sunny or semi-shaded spot (the more sun, the more flavor) but in moist (possibly slightly acidic) soil; potting soil is fine.
