What a scent! When touched, the light green leaves of this rather loosely growing geranium release a sweet rose scent, unbelievable... the flowering is a bonus: small clusters of soft pink flowers. You just can't stop smelling this plant! Use the dried leaves as a scent source and in potpourris, and feel free to add some flowers or leaves to your tea, liqueur, mocktail, or cocktail.
Scented geraniums are a welcome addition to an "experiential garden." Just run your hands through them, take a sniff... In a large pot, they can also be placed behind a windowsill or in the bedroom: again, run your hands through them and mosquitoes won't come in as quickly!
Furthermore, a few leaves in your bath make for a wonderfully relaxing moment of enjoyment. Because the leaves are also edible, a leaf in tea, iced tea, or mixed drinks provides a delightful scent and aroma! Further tips: use them to flavour sauces, ice cream, pastries, applesauce, and vinegar.
