Large Woodland Strawberry 'Royal Red'
- Product number: 830688.1
- Origin: Europe
- Latin: Fragaria moschata
The leaves are strikingly different from both the wild strawberry and modern strawberries, quite large and light green. The enormous vigor of this strong strawberry is remarkable; give it plenty of sun to stimulate flowering and fruiting. The fruits are a size larger than wild strawberries and have a "wild aroma". Our strawberry collection partly consists of rare old varieties, which are only sporadically available. Therefore, the waiting time can be long. Annually in July, a new crop is potted by our grower, which is delivered in August-September. In April-May, we can replenish some of this assortment. Please note that postage costs apply for any subsequent deliveries.
