Swiss Treasure 'Panther'
- Product number: 830605.1
- Origin: Germany
- Latin: Fragaria x ananassa
(1914) A variety obtained from an organic nursery in Switzerland. Panther originally comes from Germany, but was formerly mainly cultivated in Switzerland as a commercial fruit. The rather large fruits are therefore very tasty: sweetly aromatic and glossy dark red, with the seeds clearly sunken. Our strawberry collection partly consists of rare old varieties, which are only sparingly available. So it is possible that the waiting time is long. In July, a new crop is potted annually by our grower, which is delivered in August-September. In April-May we can supplement a part of this assortment. Please note that there will be postage costs for any backorders.
