PLENTY AVAILABLE AT LEAST ONCE A YEAR. Strawberries with long and strong runners are sometimes grown as climbing or hanging plants. This extremely robust everbearer is very suitable for this. The runners receive enough nourishment from the “umbilical cord” to flower and bear fruit independently. For climbing cultivation, the runners must be guided upwards along netting, easily reaching a height of 150 cm. For hanging cultivation, use large pots and mix coir into the potting soil. The fairly small fruits appear from June to August and have a good taste: juicy, aromatic and sufficiently sweet. Try placing a few pots in your greenhouse in winter: they will bear fruit 1-2 months earlier and continue just as diligently!
Part of our strawberry collection consists of rare old varieties, which are only available in small quantities. Therefore, the waiting time can be long. Annually in July, our grower pots a new crop, which is delivered in August-September. In April-May, we can replenish part of this assortment. Please note that postage costs may apply for any subsequent deliveries.
