Fig 'Chelsea'
- Product number: 823024.1
- Origin: Mediterranean region
- Latin: Ficus carica
This fig grows into a rather small tree, expect it to be 3m high and 2m wide, although pruning (shaping) is of course also possible. The fruits ripen purple-red-brown and are deliciously sweet! The variety was found along the Thames near Chelsea Bridge, where its enormous harvest and very good frost resistance were noted.
