Mini-Kiwifruit (Female) 'Jumbo'
- Product number: 822555.1
- Origin: East Asia
- Latin: Actinidia arguta
Very hardy climber with vigorous growth. The sweet fruits are narrower, but almost as long as their large hairy brother (3.5x5 cm) and have smooth skin. They ripen from green to yellow-green and have an even higher vitamin C content than regular kiwi. 'Jumbo' is an Italian variety that needs the male 'Weiki' for pollination and produces its first (modest) harvest from the 3rd year! Due to its smaller leaves, it is also very resistant to sea wind.
