Red Summer Raspberry 'Tulamagic®'

A modern, high-quality summer-fruiting raspberry created from a cross between the well-known varieties 'Tulameen' and 'Autumn Bliss'. By combining these two varieties, 'TulaMagic®' has inherited the excellent taste and fruit quality of 'Tulameen' with the early production characteristics of 'Autumn Bliss'.

This significant improvement on the traditional Tulameen means that harvesting begins approximately 2 to 3 weeks earlier than with 'Tulameen'. This allows you to enjoy large, flavorful raspberries early in the season.

The fruits are large, elongated, and conical with an attractive bright red color and a beautiful shine. The flesh is firm, juicy, and finely structured. The taste is distinctly sweet with an intense raspberry aroma and a fresh finish. The berries have a delightfully soft and juicy mouthfeel, yet retain enough firmness to also be suitable for processing.

The plant primarily bears fruit on two-year-old canes and yields a rich harvest in early summer. For optimal growth and yield, 'TulaMagic®' prefers a sunny, sheltered spot in humus-rich, nutritious, and well-drained soil. During dry periods, ensure sufficient water to obtain the largest and juiciest fruits.
