Seedless Blue Grape 'Venus'

American variety with high disease resistance and a sweet, spicy, and fruity taste. The harvest for a seedless grape is remarkably early, the berries remarkably large, and growth and yield are average. Seedless actually means that the seed is so soft that it is not felt as such. This variety can occasionally form somewhat harder seeds, and the skin is quite firm and sour, but the interior more than makes up for it! (Cross between Alden x New York 46000)

The range of seedless grapes is growing: very popular with children! In general, seedless grapes are more sensitive to frost, so wrap them up during harsh winters. Cultivation in a greenhouse is, of course, always good. Seedless grapes are not truly seedless, however. They have seeds that do not form a hard outer shell. During unfavorable summers, harder seeds can (rarely) develop. Resistance to fungal diseases is usually slightly lower than with regular grape varieties.
WE CAN ONLY PURCHASE MOST VARIETIES ONCE A YEAR (IN NOVEMBER OR MAY). DELIVERY TIMES CAN THEREFORE BE LONG.
