White Outdoor Grape 'Aurore'

(1940) A very reliable grape from the famous French breeder Albert Seibel. This variety is resistant to mildew, grows vigorously, and yields a good harvest early! Aurore was originally developed for wine, as the grapes do not tolerate prolonged transport. However, as a hobbyist, you'll appreciate a grape with skin that isn't too tough. The taste is excellent, sweet with a mild muscat aroma ("foxy flavor")
Do not confuse this variety with the Brazilian Aurora.
Many names are in circulation for the Aurore variety: Feri Szőlő, Finánc Szőlő, Redei, S-5279, and Seibel 5279.

Growing a grape outdoors is the dream of many garden owners, isn't it?! Unlike the disappointing varieties 'Witte van der Laan' and 'Rembrandt', we offer a selection of tasty, mostly disease-resistant varieties, extensively tested in our climate.
Grapes can be susceptible to fungi, such as powdery mildew, downy mildew, botrytis, black spot, and red spot disease. Some varieties are almost completely resistant, others have partial resistance or a very high resistance to fungi. With a few sprays in the spring with organic products (see our chapter on organic crop protection), these can be kept very healthy.
WE CAN ONLY PURCHASE MOST VARIETIES ONCE A YEAR (IN NOVEMBER OR MAY). DELIVERY TIMES CAN THEREFORE BE LONG.
