THESE BULBS WILL ARRIVE IN OCTOBER 2024.
(1949) This Dutch variety stands out with its distinctive flower shape and fresh green foliage. The delightfully fragrant lilac-pink flowers with light pink to white centers appear in late May on stems approximately 80 cm long.
After years of experience in the Netherlands, our grower has put together a TOP assortment of the most beautiful and successful peonies.
They grow on all soil types:
On clay, growth is problem-free; do not fertilize too much and ensure good drainage.
On sand, the plants remain somewhat smaller; sufficient fertilization keeps the plant healthy.
On peat soil, growth is generally good, but the plants will need to be transplanted or renewed a little earlier.
Place peonies in a sunny spot, planting them (immediately upon arrival) shallowly so that only a few cm of soil cover the "eyes," pressing down the soil first.
We supply loose rhizomes; each plant has grown for 4-5 years, so the chance of early flowering is high! Some varieties grow into their intended (double) form as they age. Colors may vary slightly from year to year and depend on the preceding winter cold. Because we have to wait for the plants to die back naturally, the rhizomes are available FROM OCTOBER AT THE EARLIEST.
