Nectaroscordum siculum ssp bulgaricum
- Product number: 736560.1
- Origin: Southern Europe
- Latin: Nectaroscordum siculum ssp bulgaricum
A lovely bulbous plant, which is extra popular again since it was "bulb of the year" in 2008! Any sunny or semi-shady spot is sufficient for this relative of the ornamental onion family. It grows 90-120 cm tall, and its bell-shaped flowers hang in a cluster on long, drooping stems. The color is fantastic: cream-white to yellow-green with a strong purple haze. After flowering, decorative seed pods appear. We offer an extra-large bulb size for even better flowering!
