Bright orange-red variety.
The sturdy stems have graceful whorls of glossy green leaves up to 2/3 of their length, and a cluster of large, bell-shaped flowers topped with a tuft (crown) of bracts. It is known for its repellent effect on moles. Tip: Because the bulb has a hollow top where rot can occur in very moist soil, we recommend planting the bulbs on their side.
