QUITE RARE! This free-flowering anemone was introduced around 1850, probably a cross between A. pavonia x A. hortensis, which are native to the south of France. They bloom very easily and more profusely than the similar Anemone coronaria. Medium-sized scarlet red flowers with a yellow-white interior and a black-purple heart: what a magnificent contrast! Give them a nice warm spot with sufficient humus and moisture.
We supply them in P9 pots; the leaves start to appear from November and they bloom in spring.
