Mixture of single-flowered colours, the white ones with a green heart, the rest with a black to purple heart.
By far the best known Anemone, popular as a cut flower and introduced to our country from France as early as 1850. There are two well-known types: the De Caen type with large, beautifully coloured, single flowers and the St. Brigid type with semi-double flowers and rather narrow petals. They prefer nutritious, humus-rich soil and with some winter protection, the plant is sufficiently frost-resistant. Before planting, soak the corms overnight in water.
