Arisaema taiwanense 1 Small tuber
- Product number: 702353.1
- Origin: Taiwan
- Latin: Arisaema taiwanense
This rare, but wonderfully beautiful Arisaema is a striking ornament for your garden, but also grows very well in pots! In spring, the plants shoot up to 70 cm in height from the ground, the thick stems are green with black spots and the finger-shaped leaves unfold like an umbrella, just like a beautiful small palm tree... Soon after, the brown-purple striped arum flowers with an overhanging lid from which a long point grows. The tubers are perfectly hardy; plant them no shallower than 20 cm, in humus-rich soil in a semi-shaded spot.
