Bright white, single-flowered with a bright, yellow-green heart.
By far the most well-known anemone, loved throughout history as a cut flower and introduced to our country from France around 1850. There are two known types: the De Caen type with large, beautifully coloured, single flowers and the St. Brigid type with semi-double flowers and rather narrow petals. They require nutritious, humus-rich soil and are sufficiently frost-hardy with some winter protection. Height 25 cm.
