One of the finest, most versatile applications. Deliciously fine sprouts with a fresh taste and "crunchy" mouthfeel. Alfalfa are the sprouts of Lucerne clover. These seeds have been found free of harmful bacteria after harvesting: Salmonella spp., Listeria monocytogenes, E. coli 0157-H7 & Ehec (Enterohaemorrhagic Escherichia coli). After that, the seeds were treated as hygienically as possible.
This variety is mainly grown as a germ or sprout vegetable (for the white germ). Cultivation takes place in the dark and in warmth. The sprouts can stay fresh in the refrigerator for a week, provided they are well drained.
