A grateful grass for a sunny, well-draining or dry spot! The blue-green tussocks can be woven with flowering plants at the front of the border, the airy effect of this grass provides peace and playfulness. At a height of about 60 cm, they bloom with long spikelets, with the flowers arranged to one side. These start green and turn reddish-purple. You can also cut the flower stems to lighten up bouquets, both fresh and dried. Birds love to feast on the seeds and use the dry grass in spring for nesting material.
