Sowing method: May-July, this fine seed germinates with moisture and warmth (20°C). If desired, mix the seed with dry silver sand or talcum powder for better distribution. Scatter the seed evenly on a seedbed of fine (sieved) soil. Press down, mist lightly, and cover with (fleece) cloth to prevent drying out. Some will germinate quickly, there is a long germination period with latecomers.
