The plant structure of this relatively new plant is massive with bright green leaves that strongly resemble grape leaves! When the bright white, hollyhock-like flowers appear (Kitaibelia is a Malvaceae = mallow family), a wonderfully beautiful plant emerges that seamlessly fits into cottage and country gardens. Due to its long blooming period, this plant is a good replacement for annual Lavatera and Malva. Give them a sunny spot for years of blooming pleasure; the plant is very winter-hardy. Height 120-150 cm. The origin of this beautiful plant lies in Bosnia.
