A breathtakingly beautiful iris from North America. Fairly compact growth (20-40 cm), 1-4 flowers bloom per stem: 3 light blue to white outer petals with beautiful veins, 3 smaller, light blue and pointed inner petals, and 3 light blue top petals. The plants are very hardy, spread underground, and love good drainage. Native Americans used the root for toothache.
