Blooming in bright shades of blue, pink, and white (from July-October). Each plant has 5 broad petals and deeply incised leaves. Height 30-80 cm. After flowering, seed pods form, which resemble a stork's beak.

Ooievaarsbek is the Dutch name for the garden geranium, not to be confused with the geraniums planted in flower boxes and pots, these plants are called Pelargonium.

Sowing method: Sow in a seed tray, first give 2-4 weeks of warmth (18-22°C), then a cold period in, for example, the refrigerator (+4°C) for 4-6 weeks, then slowly warm up to room temperature again, after which germination will follow. Sowing directly into the ground is also possible; in that case, simply let winter pass over them, and germination will occur in spring.
