A particularly vigorous species, albeit compact (height 60 cm). The pink-red, outwardly spreading tubular flowers will shine at you. Quite frost-resistant!
Dierama plants have a graceful inflorescence: the more or less long, thin (but tough) stems bear trumpet-shaped flowers, which are mainly concentrated at the ends and hang downwards. The stems bend under this weight, creating the illusion of a fishing rod under tension! Give the plants a sheltered spot and, most importantly, not too wet (on a mound).
