EXTRA LONG BEARDS!
Cross-breeding sometimes leads to remarkable results: this carnation's petals comically grow into very long and thin strands ("beards"): hauntingly captivating! On sturdy stems (30-40 cm), these flowers bloom in white, violet, red, and light pink. We have hand-mixed this selection-with-extra-long-beards, so there are 15 seeds of each of the 4 colours in the packet! The sweet carnation scent fills the garden on a balmy summer evening. It also happily continues to scent a vase.
