This beautiful, wild carnation grows in former Yugoslavia and forms a dense clump of narrow leaves, with an abundance of lemon-yellow, open flowers in summer. It flowers throughout the summer, and if the plants grow in full sun, you can even (carefully) walk on them. Also very suitable for a green roof, together with Sedums. Insects love it!
