A cascade of the sweetest pink! This member of the Acanthus family originates from North America. At a height of 50-150 cm (depending on moisture, sun, and nutrients), clusters with hundreds of butterfly-shaped flowers bloom in a beautiful light pink hue. The seed pods have barbs and stick to the feathers and fur of birds and other animals for efficient dispersal. The plant naturalizes excellently at the edge of the forest. Due to its deep roots, the plant is very drought-resistant.
