This vining variety can creep or climb. The breeder specifically developed it to display dark, blue-green foliage, which beautifully contrasts with its bright red flowers! Due to its attractive leaves, this variety is also particularly popular as a microgreen; grow it under plenty of light to achieve an intense leaf color. The flowers are, of course, also an edible (spicy) delicacy.
