Creamy white flowers (with occasional variations), beautifully spherical on semi-tall, 40-60cm high stems (40cm in dry weather). Although germination is not always optimal, this variety produces very strong plants that flower abundantly even in a rainy summer.
Giant-flowered marigolds (5-10 cm in diameter) remind me of my childhood; I loved their scent and enjoyed walking through fields of these big beauties. The large, spherical flowers are a wonderfully old-fashioned adornment for the garden, and for the taller types, they are excellent for cutting!
This Tagetes also acts against harmful nematodes; for more crops, see the chapter “Useful Plants” in the group “Disease-resistant Plants”.
