A popular, light, and mild bulk tobacco, often yellow when still a plant. This tobacco readily absorbs flavor from other (stronger) tobacco varieties. The soft tobacco is used for rolling tobacco, cigarettes, pipes, and as filler in light (ladies') cigars. The substantial yield is partly due to the large leaves on 180 cm tall plants. It beautifully balances several types towards mildness.
A "blend" (mixture) is composed from several varieties in varying concentrations to achieve an interesting aroma.
Tobacco plants are diligent bloomers, in sun or shade, dry weather or rain!
