Nicotiana tabacum 'Shirey'

Sowing method: February-April indoors at 20-25°C or in May outdoors (in a warm, shady spot). Always pre-sow in a seed tray. Use cocopeat with silver sand as growing medium, sieve the top layer extra finely (kitchen sieve). Spread the seeds over the seedbed, press lightly, and mist to moisten: it is a light germinator! Prick out in time into potting compost to prevent growth stagnation. The plants can be moved outdoors in May, as soon as the weather becomes consistently warmer.
