Bolivian Criollo Black is classified as a dark tobacco, but it has many characteristics similar to a Burley type. The taste is comparable to a medium-strength Burley. The leaves turn light green and yellow as they ripen, and it air-cures easily to a nice light brown color. The variety can be used as pipe tobacco, or blended with other tobaccos for cigarettes or cigars.
Tobacco plants are diligent bloomers, in sun or shade, dry weather or rain!
