At a height of 50-60 cm, the attractive, fluffy, lavender-blue, button-shaped flowers with a diameter of approximately 2 cm bloom. The plants flower all summer long, which is reason enough to sow this species annually. But there's an added bonus, which the name of this species already hints at: the leaves have a wonderful pineapple scent! A unique asset for the garden or in large flower boxes! The plants are very heat and drought tolerant, and the flowers attract butterflies! In mild winters, this species is perennial; some protection and not too much moisture help to promote this.
