Kamome forms beautiful round rosettes with fine curling along the edges, similar to kale. This variety is very frost-resistant, but also colours easily in warm conditions. Colour: burgundy red in the centre with a dark green border.
Ornamental Cabbage is best enjoyed from late summer to autumn (extending into winter), so don't sow too early. These beautifully coloured cabbages originated in Japan and make a colourful addition to our gardens or pots! Briefly cooked or stir-fried, they add a colourful touch to dishes. Their mild flavour has long been appreciated in Asian cuisine! Small-diameter cabbages that grow on long stems. Very popular as cut foliage. Plant them 15x15cm for small cabbages and further apart for a larger head. This amounts to 49-81 plants per m². Stem length 60-80cm. Harvestable after 4-5 months.
