Mini cabbages with long stems (60-90 cm) that decoratively adorn an autumn or winter bouquet. They are very strong as cut flowers, but these cabbages on stalks also look beautiful in the garden. The leaves of this 'Feather' series are beautifully incised all the way to the centre. Colour: a beautiful two-tone cabbage with lilac-pink in the centre and bright green along the edge. Veins and stems are burgundy. With a planting distance of 15x15 cm you get beautiful, small cabbages; a wider spacing gives larger "blooms".
Ornamental cabbage or garnish cabbage is best enjoyed in late summer to autumn (extending into winter), so don't sow too early. These beautifully coloured cabbages originated in Japan and are a colourful addition to our gardens or pots! Briefly boiled or stir-fried, they are a colourful addition to dishes. Their mild flavour has long been appreciated in Asian cuisine! Small diameter cabbages that grow on long stems. Very popular as cut greens. Plant them 15x15cm for small cabbages and further apart for a larger head. This amounts to 49-81 plants per m². Stem length 60-80cm. Harvestable after 4-5 months.
