AVAILABLE ALMOST YEAR-ROUND, SOME PERIODS NOT. The most unique clover we know. This Brazilian species is not only particularly graceful with its fresh green leaves and sharply contrasting, bright white flowers, but also very delicious! I snack on the leaves wherever I see them: a delightful lime flavour, fresh and sour yet a little sweet. Wonderful with almost all dishes! Grow the bulbs in a pot indoors or in pots or the garden outdoors, preferably in a slightly shaded spot. The leaves "sleep" at night and in dark weather. Overwinter frost-free! Koppert Cress markets the leaves under the protected name Yka Leaves. A logical advice: use the Lime Leaf only as a garnish and flavour enhancer, not as a main meal: just like rhubarb, too much acid is bad for the bones! (Overwinter frost-free)
