This beautiful, orange beefsteak tomato dates from the early 20th century, a true historical survivor! It must have something special to offer... This variety originally comes from Northern Siberia, around the city of Tobolsk. That promises a very good adaptation to cool summers! The flavor balance is perfect, sufficiently sweet with strong aromas.
The largest tomatoes in our assortment are called beefsteak tomatoes. This tomato owes its name to the larger amount of pulp (instead of juice). This applies to most varieties in this group, with a few exceptions such as the so-called stuffing tomatoes.
