You could almost call the "stuffing tomatoes" (quite hollow inside) ornamental tomatoes. This variety is a feast for the eyes due to its shape and color! Green-yellow with red stripes, ripening later to solid red. The shape is very sharply ribbed and quite large. Although the stuffing will account for a large part of the taste, the edge of the fruit is still reasonably sweet and lightly perfumed.
Do you often grow your tomatoes in the same spot, for example in a greenhouse? Then diseases can develop in the soil, to which rootstocks are resistant and therefore grafting is recommended:
for grafting tomatoes, use this variety: 291110 Tomato 'Landon'. As an aid, we recommend these grafting clips: 847520 Grafting clip 1.5 mm.
The largest tomatoes in our assortment are called beefsteak tomatoes. This tomato owes its name to the larger amount of flesh (instead of juice). This applies to most varieties in this group, with a few exceptions such as the so-called stuffing tomatoes.
