Beefsteak tomato 'Brazilian Beauty'

  • Product number: 295264
  • Origin: South America
  • Latin: Lycopersicon lycopersicum, also known as L. esculentum

The favorite of my grower's Brazilian family. Brown-black flattened-round to round fleshy tomato. The taste is fantastic and the fruit weighs approximately 300g.

Do you often grow your tomatoes in the same place, for example in a greenhouse? Then diseases can develop in the soil, which rootstocks are resistant to, and grafting is therefore recommended:
for grafting tomatoes, use this variety: 291110 Tomato 'Landon'. As an aid, we recommend these grafting clips: 847520 Grafting clip 1.5 mm.

The largest tomatoes in our assortment are called beefsteak tomatoes. This tomato owes its name to the larger amount of flesh (instead of juice). This applies to most varieties in this group, with a few exceptions such as the so-called stuffing tomatoes.

Names:
Latin: Lycopersicon lycopersicum, or also L. esculentum
Dutch: Vleestomaat (Beefsteak tomato)
English: Tomato, Beefsteaks Type
