A beautiful tomato with strong growth. When unripe, the fruits are light green with dark green stripes; as they ripen, yellow fruits with dark yellow stripes emerge: a subtle zebra pattern! The fruits are large, weighing 200-300 grams. Despite the vigorous foliage growth, this attractive variety does reasonably well outdoors, although cultivation under cover or in a greenhouse is, of course, safer!
Do you often grow your tomatoes in the same place, for example in a greenhouse? Then diseases can develop in the soil, which rootstocks are resistant to, and therefore grafting is recommended:
for grafting tomatoes, use this variety: 291110 Tomato 'Landon'. As an aid, we recommend these grafting clips: 847520 Grafting clip 1.5 mm.
The largest tomatoes in our assortment are called beefsteak tomatoes. This tomato owes its name to the larger amount of flesh (instead of juice). This applies to most varieties in this group, with a few exceptions such as the so-called stuffing tomatoes.
