A successful, historic Scandinavian hit! Early-maturing, fairly small tomatoes, which are nicely juicy and sufficiently sweet. An excellent variety for outdoor cultivation, though they do need support; in a greenhouse, they will even climb.
This group of tomatoes are sized between a cherry tomato and a beefsteak tomato: medium-sized, in other words. Each one has its own unique character. The climbing varieties ripen somewhat later than the compact varieties, and are therefore more successful under rain protection: a lean-to, greenhouse, or grow tunnel.
