The compact, non-suckering plants produce an impressive harvest of firm, round, red tomatoes (100-200 g). The taste is exquisite: rich aromas with a good acid balance. Due to its early harvest, this variety is very suitable for cooler climates.
If you often grow your tomatoes in the same spot, for example in a greenhouse, soil-borne diseases can develop. Rootstocks are resistant to these diseases, making grafting advisable:
For grafting tomatoes, use this variety: 291110 Tomato 'Landon'. As an aid, we recommend these grafting clips: 847520 Grafting Clip 1.5 mm.
This group of tomatoes is a medium size, between a cherry tomato and a beefsteak tomato. Each variety has its own unique character. The climbing varieties ripen later than the compact varieties and are therefore more successful when protected from rain: under a lean-to, in a greenhouse, or in a grow tunnel.
