An ideal tomato to grow in a large pot or planter. After the plants have grown about 20 cm, hanging tendrils up to 50 cm long will form. The oval fruits (20-30 g) ripen from light green with dark green stripes to red with brownish-green stripes. The fruits are a popular treat for young and old!
The smallest tomatoes in our assortment are called cherry tomatoes or ping-pong tomatoes, depending on their size. Some varieties are elongated or heart-shaped and are accordingly given a slightly different name. Some are even original, wild species. Most taste extra sweet, a few have a sweet and sour taste. Cherry tomatoes are closest to the original species, which may be why they are generally more resistant to the dreaded potato blight.
