These round cherry tomatoes weigh on average 25 g and bear 6-8 fruits per truss. The tomatoes are strikingly deep red (lots of lycopene) and contain a lot of flesh, meaning less watery juice. The plants are tolerant to heat and cold and remain compact. Due to the early harvest, diseases are less likely to spoil the crop... Give the plants little nitrogen.
The smallest tomatoes in our assortment are called cherry tomatoes or ping pong tomatoes, depending on their size. Some varieties are elongated or heart-shaped and are accordingly given a slightly different name. Some are even original, wild species. Most taste extra sweet, a few have a sweet and sour taste. Cherry tomatoes are closest to the original species, which is probably why they are generally more resistant to the dreaded potato blight.
