According to experts, this is one of the tastiest cherry tomatoes, still close to its wild form. The plants grow to about 2.5 m and produce a good yield of 2.5 cm fruits, which are well resistant to Phytophthora and cracking. The fruits patiently remain on the plant and do not fall off.
Do you often grow your tomatoes in the same spot, for example in a greenhouse (or small greenhouse)? Then diseases can develop in the soil, to which rootstocks are resistant, and therefore grafting is recommended:
for grafting tomatoes, use this variety: 291110 Tomato 'Landon'. As an aid, we recommend these grafting clips: 847520 Grafting clip 1.5 mm.
The smallest tomatoes in our assortment are called cherry tomatoes or ping-pong tomatoes, depending on their size. Some varieties are elongated or heart-shaped and are accordingly given a slightly different name. Some are even original, wild species. Most taste extra sweet; a few have a sweet-sour taste. Cherry tomatoes are closest to the original species, which is perhaps why they are generally more resistant to the dreaded potato blight.
