A REAL WINNER!
This tomato is our favorite on many fronts! The climbing plants produce an abundance of light orange small fruits that weigh an average of 20 grams. The taste is spot on: deliciously sweet and juicy, real candy tomatoes! It's no coincidence that Goldmarie is grown by organic growers; this tomato is very resistant to diseases, including the notorious Phytophthora infestans…
The smallest tomatoes in our assortment are called cherry tomatoes or ping-pong tomatoes, depending on their size. Some varieties are elongated or heart-shaped and are accordingly given a slightly different name. Some are even original, wild species. Most taste extra sweet, while a few have a sweet and sour taste. Cherry tomatoes are closest to the original species, which is perhaps why they are generally more resistant to the dreaded potato blight.
