To honour the English gardening expert and pioneer in organic cultivation Alan Chadwick, this very healthy tomato is named after him. The climbing plants can grow up to 3 m long in the greenhouse! The plants produce many trusses, each with 8-12 almost perfect fruits weighing 25 grams each. Deep red, slightly flattened round in shape and deliciously juicy and sweet!
The smallest tomatoes in our assortment are called cherry tomatoes or ping-pong tomatoes, depending on their size. Some varieties are elongated or heart-shaped and are accordingly given a slightly different name. Some are even original, wild species. Most taste extra sweet, a few have a sweet and sour taste. Cherry tomatoes are closest to the original species, which may be why they are generally more resistant to the dreaded potato blight.
