The smallest tomatoes in our assortment are called cherry tomatoes or ping-pong tomatoes, depending on their size. Some varieties are elongated or heart-shaped and are given a slightly different name accordingly. Some are even original, wild species. Most taste extra sweet, a few have a sweet and sour taste. Cherry tomatoes are closest to the original species, which is probably why they are generally more resistant to the dreaded potato blight.
